Darth Bane: Rule of Two

By: Drew Karpyshyn

Darth Bane: Rule of Two is a novel set in the Star Wars universe that takes place during the Sith era, and is the second of three novels in the Darth Bane trilogy.

Plot: Darth Bane and his new apprentice, Darth Zannah, seek out to learn the learn the ways of the ancient Sith.  Starting where the last novels leaves off, Darth Bane & Zannah leave Russan in separate ships, leaving Darovit (Zannah's cousin Tomcat) alive.

Ten Years later, a Jedi named Johun Othone finds Darovit and discovers his secret; The Sith are not extinct, but are actually quite alive and getting more powerful.  A secret that starts closer to home than the Jedi can believe.  Now the Jedi must face Darth Bane & Darth Zannah, and end the war once and for all, or die trying...

Review:  This book delves into the relationship of master & apprentice, but leaves out none of the trickery and cunning that one would hope to read in a Sith book.  Truly a Star Wars novel, where one deed in turn spawns another.  A great read all the way through!
