Star Wars Episode I - The Phantom Menace

Star Wars Episode I - The Phantom Menace is a novel set in the Star Wars universe that takes place during the Rise of the Empire era, and is the first of three books in The Star Wars Prequel trilogy.

Plot: Arriving on the planet Naboo to settle a dispute between the planetary government and the Trade Federation, Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi are thrusted into an all out war.  While trying to smuggle Queen Amidala off of Naboo, their ship sustains to much damage and is forced to find a planet near by to land for repairs.

While stranded on the planet Tatooine, the Qui-Gon discovers a young boy who is exttremely strong in the force named Anakin Skywalker.  But he also discover something else while he is there that will make the jedi feel something they haven't felt in a thousand years....

Review:  A great book that has constant action staring you right in the face, but plots within plots hiding between the lines.  Truly worthy of the Star Wars franchise!  One does not consider how much action is in that movie until an over two hour movie, becomes an only 320 page book.  Nothing was left out either!  If anything, the book has more details.  Unbelievable!
