Plot: Moldavia Lost Ashes is a community that is as good as it gets in the Los Angeles nightmare that exists after Judgement Day, when Skynet (a sentient supercomputer) launches the world's nuclear arsenal and puts the Earth into nuclear winter. However, little does the community know, but Skynet has sectioned the area off for human cleansing.
The resistance cell in Los Angeles, led by John Connor, has to do something spectacular to gain the attention and resources of the international resistance fighters. They decide to invade a newly setup terminator depot which has been temporarily created to clean out a sector of the city of its human population. When The Resistance scouts out the local population and encounters Moldavia Lost Ashes, Kate Connor has a battle of conscience between what needs to be done, and all the children she sees...

Review: A great prequel novel if there ever has been one! The great use of happenstance in this novel greatly increases the suspense from page to page. The marine Justo Orozco is a compelling, very well written character that the reader will root for up to the very end of the novel.
