Darth Bane: Path of Destruction

Darth Bane: Path of Destruction is a novel set in the Star Wars universe that takes place during the Sith era, and is the first of three novels in the Darth Bane trilogy.

Plot: "Two there should be; no more, no less. One to embody the power, the other to crave it."  Dessel had a hard life.  He had an abusive father, and now spends his life working in the cortosis mines on Apatros.  After a sabacc game that goes south, Dessel is forced to kill a Republic officer in cold blood.  With nowhere to run in the Republic, Dessel is forced to join the Sith.

Upon winning a great battle for the Sith, Dessel is recruited by a Dark Lord of the Sith to join The Brotherhood of Darkness on Korriban where Dessel will eventually take on the mantle of Darth Bane, and forge the true destiny of the Sith.

Review:  Bane is the coldest Sith Lord to date.  He does not suffer from the conflicting emotions of Vader, nor the overconfidence of Sidious.   This book is a great read for anyone fascinated by the Sith, and truly want to experience the power of the dark side!  The novel is pure candy from beginning to end...
