Han Solo's Revenge

By: Brian Daley

Han Solo's Revenge is a novel set in the Star Wars universe that takes place during the Rise of the Empire era, and is the second of three books in The Han Solo Adventures trilogy.

Plot: Down on their luck after a movie screening goes awry, Han Solo and Chewbacca have no choice but to resort to accepting a job offer from an anonymous employer. After arriving to the planet Lur for the pickup, they discover that the cargo they're picking up is a load of slaves - something neither Han nor Chewbacca has any tolerance for.

After thwarting the slavers' attempts to commandeer the Falcon, and still broke, Han and Chewbacca head for the planet Bonadan, where the slavers' leader was meant to meet his contact for payment, with every intention of receiveing their ten thousand credits.

Review:  Even better than the first book.   This novel has everything that belongs in a Star Wars Novel!  Action!  Sci-Fi!  Mystery!  The title in the book is the only problem...  Han Solo doesn't actually get revenge on anyone in this book.  But, if you can get past that one little fact, the rest of the novel is a thrill ride, right to the very end, with plot twists, and action dialogue, and an ending that will truly make the journey worth while.  If you are into Han Solo, put this on your "required reading" list!
